(Odish Sports): After Team India’s debacle against South Africa in the third T20I by 9 wickets which leveled the three-match series 1-1 Indian captain Virat Kohli admitted that his team failed to read the tempo of the game, here on Sunday.
“South Africa bowled well, the pitch suited them in the first innings and we weren’t able to read the tempo of the game well,” Kohli said in the post-match presentation ceremony. He also said the team will have to be patient for the younger players in the team to come good. We will try to get the squad composition right as soon as we can, he added. After restricting India to 134/9, South Africa skipper Quinton de Kock batted with an unbeaten 79 (52 balls, 4×6, 6×5) as South Africa chased down the target with more than three overs to spare.
