Bajrang Punia gets Silver in World Wrestling Championships

Bajrang Punia got silver at the World Wrestling Championships in Budapest on 22nd October.

In a close bout, the 24 year old Bajrang fought his heart out but could not get past the solid defence of his Japanese opponent who lifted the title.

Bajrang was still justifiably proud of his achievement as his impressive journey to the final bout meant he became the first Indian wrestler to win his two medals at the World Championships, bettering his bronze-winning effort in Budapest in 2013.
